The largest timed ultra in the United States, The Howl at the Moon is held at Kennekuk Cove County Park on a 3.29 mile loop with excellent support from Kennekuk’s outstanding volunteers. Do as little or as much as you can. A perfect event for your first Ultra. Post-race party with food, drink, prizes & music.
There is no transfer of participants. Limit of 350 participants. So, sign up early!
Just like the rest of 2020, this year’s Howl registration will be the same but different.
What has changed…
Everyone will be placed on a wait list until we are able to officially open the registration.
Due to COVID-19, KRR has started a wait list for the HOWL in hopes of still being able to have it on the planned date of August 8th. The wait list registration started on Earth Day, April 22nd.
How it will work –
On Earth Day, registration was opened. Go to the link below complete the registration process, however you will not make a payment. Everyone will be placed on a wait list in the order that you registered. Once we get the all clear that we can indeed have the Howl, we will officially open the registration. You will receive an email stating that you have 24 hours to complete your registration and make payment. Upon receiving your payment, you will be on your way to sweating out 8 hours in the August heat.
Please note…if you do not make your payment within the 24 hours, you will be removed from the wait list, and no longer have a registration for HOWL.
Taking this approach allows everyone to still register and begin training, but not make any payment, in case we are not able to have the race this year.
